The West Virginia State Bar's Veterans and Military Affairs Committee,
in conjunction with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Legal Aid of West Virginia, is sponsoring a free seminar/webinar. The seminar/webinar will be presented/broadcast on November 9 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.Three (3) CLE credits will be available.Speakers will include LTC Kelly D. Ambrose, MIL NG WV ARNG, whose topic is "Camouflage doesn't hide everything: Avoiding discrimination and malpractice with military members"; Stephen Butera and Matthew Kelly, of the Department of Veterans Affairs, who will speak about the unique mental health and substance abuse issues veterans encounter, with an emphasis on the legal ramifications of the same; and Gary Pullin and Gene Bailey, whose topic is "An Overview of the Legal Obligations Under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA)."
