Dear Tom:

Please accept my sincere thanks for the State Bar's most generous contribution to the West Virginia State Bar Merit Scholarship Fund. Your generosity will allow us to assist three deserving students and is essential to the students who receive it. It makes a difference in their academic journey, and is critical in meeting their financial obligations associated with the completion of their studies.

While this annual scholarship is always anticipated, it is never taken for granted; consequently, it is always a delight when you attend orientation and personally deliver the gift. Our law school's recruiting efforts are enhanced by this annual scholarship, for it positions us more advantageously to compete with similar schools who offer more financial aid.

Our students benefit immensely as a result of the State Bar's generosity, and it is on their behalf that I sincerely thank you for this wonderful act of kindness.
